BCB Annual Balut Cup - Sat 16-Feb-2013
British Club Balut Section hosted the Annual Balut Cup, including the Balut Allcomers Cup and the Balut Juniors Cup.
Held at the British Club Bangkok, the event included 26 players from overseas.
We also had 3 players from Perth Australia joining us, playing real-time via the Internet!
Total number of players was 53.
The first roll of the dice took place at 7pm on Saturday 16th Feb 2013 after a sumptuous buffet.
There were 4 junior players all aiming to become the new Junior Champion. Their scores are usually better than their adult counterparts, so the older players better watch out!

Update:
For those of you who weren't there, you missed an absolute cracker of a night, proving yet again that the camaraderie we all enjoy during Balut is not a coincidence but an essential part of the DNA of the game. The youngest player had yet to reach 10, while the oldest competitor was close to 80, yet once those dice started rolling, generational gaps were transcended with an ease rarely seen in any other game or sports.
Our Singapore visitors showed us how it's done and took 7 out of the Top 10 places!
