Chivas Regal 33rd STC Interport Balut Competition
Date: 29th & 30th November 2013
Once again, the British Club Bangkok played host to the great Interport Balut Competition - the Chivas Regal 33rd STC Interport Balut Competition
Registration for Teams and Players started on Friday evening with a splendid cocktail party and buffet on the front lawn. The British Ambassador to Thailand - Mark Kent - kindly opened the proceedings. A Scottish Pipe Band set the scene. A total of 112 players were registered to start the main competition the next day.
Saturday lunch was followed by start of the main competition at 2pm. 28 tables of 4 Players each were seated in the Surawong room. Have you ever heard the noise from 112 people playing a dice game like Balut! There were 8 rounds in total, finishing at 6pm
